Today is December 20, 2015 which is my birthday, and I am sitting here trying to write my weekly blog. To be honest with you its kind of difficult because my mind continues to reflect back over my life, however I'm trying to focus on God to hear a word to share with His people. I remembering the times I was not sure what to do with me life. I could recall the many things I thought I wanted to do from a young age until adulthood. I remember when I was a young girl I wanted to be a singer then a dancer, author, actor, nurse, physical therapist ( specializing in sports medicine I'm not going to even get into it why) news anchor women, lawyer and last but not lest Director of human resources.

I never felt absolutely sure about any of those profession, and the only thing that stuck with me all my life was the desire to be a author. I also had a heart to help people and tried my hardest to do so, however to me that never translated to a profession. I always attributed my desire to help people to having a good heart like my Mother, I believed that's why it came so naturally.

I notice now as I begin to look back I never asked God when I was younger what I should do with my life. This scripture just came to my mind Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think towards you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil. To give you a future and hope. Wow that just hit me, you see all the time I spent trying to figure out what I was going to do with my life, God already formulated an awesome plan for me. I always believed that there was something that God wanted me to do, however i tried to figure it out on my own instead of going to the source and ask Him.

Don't get me wrong I believe that every experience in my life was leading to Gods plan to give me a future and hope! I'm not saying that I have fully arrived however what I can honestly say is that, I'm closer to my future and hope than I have ever been! When I asked God what was His plan for my life and stop trying to wing it ( which is something that I would do often) He let me in on the thoughts he had towards me. I found out that His plan was so much better then mine, and it brought me so much more joy!

Listen sometimes we find our self in a position of wandering, trying to figure out what we should be doing with our lives. However what I learned is that we have a God that has already sat down and thought our lives through, and we don't have to wonder what that is. The word of God says ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall fine, knock and the door shall be open unto you. When I asked he answered and revealed the path I should take, and catch this He continues to unfold my purpose daily ( I give God all the praise for His revelation)

People of God listen I started off this blog unsure why God was leading me in this direction. In my mind I was asking God to give me an encouraging word for his people. I now realize my life is a encouraging word because I can truly say if it had not been for the Lord on my side, I don't know where I would be. I can truly say to you with confidence God has a plan for your life. I can also tell you with confidence that if you seek God for that plan, he will reveal it to you. I am excited to see another birthday that was not promised to me, and grateful to see the growth in my life. I firmly believe that greater is coming in my future, and so I put all my hope in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and you should too!

I LOVE YOU WITH THE LOVE OF THE LORD
