There comes a time in our lives when we come head to head with some crazy situation. Times when you're literally living that saying "out of the pot and into the fire", you know when the heat is so heavy on you, you can't eat or sleep. Have you every found yourself in a situation and as you thought about how you could get out of it, a heat wave came over you and you felt as if you were going to pass out?. Come on people of God I'm talking about situation s and issues that we wrestle with, and try so hard not to deal with.
We will try and workout a situation by our own means and tactics, and even though there is no relief we continue on with our antics. Our mindset is to stay out of the fiery furnace by any means necessary. Why is that? The spirit of fear tells us that the fire will completely consume us. Let's be absolutely clear the Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us, the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. People of God we must know that everything that comes from the enemy is a lie, and that he is always trying to block us from something.
There are something's that you go through in life that you can only get loosed from in the fiery furnace. There are something's that are attached to you are so strong , that only the fiery furnace can consume it. The Bible in Daniel 3 talks about these three Hebrew boys name Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These three Hebrew boys were servants of the true and living God and refused to serve or worship King Nebuchadnezzar's gods. These boys did not go about telling people that they refuse to serve and worship the kings gods. The Bible says that there were certain Chaldeans ( citizens of that land) that accused the Hebrew boys of not serving nor worshiping these gods, to the king. (see Daniel 3:8)
People of God you can try and stay under the radar all you want, but there will be some Chaldeans in your life that are going to accuse you of some stuff. Why? Because when God wants to set you free He will cause a chain reaction that will burn off everything that is holding you down. Listen I want you to get this, yes the three Hebrew boys were bound and thrown into the fiery furnace. The fire consumed what had them literally bound and they physically walked around in the furnace. The Bible also says that there was a 4th person in the furnace with them that the king said "looks like the son of man". Please know that while you're in the fiery furnace your not alone your help ( The Lord) is in the fiery furnace with you.
Listen this is the point I really want you to get (don't miss this) The core problem that the Hebrew boys had was the fact that they were not free to worship their God, and was under command to server and worship false gods. Watch this (don't miss it) the Bible says that after King Nebuchadnezzar saw that there was a fourth man in the furnace, the boys were loosed that were once bound, he called to them to come out of the furnace, and they came, and once they came out not even one hair on their head was singed, and the fire had no power over them. This part right here is going to blow your minds, the Bible says that after the king saw all of this he made a decree (watch this!)." That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort".
My God do you see how God fixed that situation? Now they are free to worship God and are not subjected to serve and worship the kings gods. Not only that , God is now glorified because every people, nation, and language that speak anything against God is subject to death. Which means all your Chaldeans are taken care of!
Listen people of God the fiery furnace holds your complete freedom , so don't get all broken up about things you have to go through. The Bible says in Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. That means no matter how bad or hot it gets it's working towards your good. Then remember there will be glory after your fiery furnace experience. The Bible says in Daniel 3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon. My God look at that after you make it through the fire your promotion is coming! People of God don't run from nor be afraid of the fiery furnace, because your freedom lies within it.
